Congratulations to Barbara Montoya, the Edwin L. Swain Award of Excellence winner for 2012!

The IPMA-HR Southern Region's highest award given to an individual is the Edwin L. Swain Award of Excellence. The award is named for Edwin L. Swain who was the first President of the Southern Region in 1948. The award is designed to recognize an individual who has distinguished herself or himself throughout their career in Human Resource Management by maintaining the highest level of professional standards, a forward thinking attitude and an on-going commitment to fostering professional growth in the field of Human Resources.

Barbara received this prestigious award at the recent IPMA-HR Central and Southern Region Training Conference in St. Louis. She was selected from among five worthy nominees.
